How to play Temple Run 2?

In Temple Run 2, the player will play the role of an adventurer named Guy Dangerous, who has stolen an ancient idol from a temple and is being chased by the giant monster Shushank. The player's task is to try to run after this monster as fast as possible through extremely dangerous forest roads. The player will skillfully use the directions, such as swiping left, right, up, or down, to control the character to avoid obstacles so as not to be interrupted and let the monster catch him.

Character Upgrade System

Abilities

These are permanent buffs that you can purchase and upgrade with coins collected during gameplay. These Abilities will improve your performance in each run, regardless of which character you are using. There are a total of 5 upgrade levels for each Ability, and the cost to upgrade increases with each level.

Coin Magnet: Increases the duration of the Magnet power-up that attracts coins that you pick up on the run. When activated, the magnet will automatically attract all coins near you. Upgrading it will help you attract more coins each time this power-up appears.
Boost Distance: Increases the distance that the Boost power-up takes you when you activate it (usually by double-tapping the screen when the energy bar is full). Upgrading it will help you run faster and farther in boosted state, and will help you overcome gaps and obstacles without being affected.
Pickup Spawn: Increases the frequency of all power-ups (Shield, Speed Up, Coin Magnet, Coin Bonus, Point Bonus, Gem Bonus). Upgrading gives you a chance to get power-ups more often, thus increasing your chances of survival and resource gathering.

Unlocking Characters

Unlocking new characters allows you to experience different Powers, which give you certain advantages in specific situations or suit your play style. The cost to unlock different characters also varies, usually purchased with coins or Gems.

Barry Bones: Coin Bonus (Instantly get a certain amount of coins).
Karma Lee: Score Bonus (Instantly get a certain amount of points).
