Mr. Mine is an idle mining simulation game. Players will manage a mining operation to dig deep into the ground to be able to mine more valuable resources.
Mr. Mine revolves around managing and developing an increasingly powerful mining operation. You start with basic tools and gradually expand to dig deeper, collect valuable resources, and earn money, which you then reinvest to increase efficiency.
At first, you will have to do it manually with quite rudimentary tools. You will directly click or tap on the minerals that appear in the first mine shaft to mine them. Each click/tap will bring back a certain amount of resources. After that, you will start hiring miners for each mine shaft. Miners will automatically mine resources even when you are not playing. The number and level of miners affect the mining speed.
You will mine many different types of resources, from common ones such as soil, stone, and coal to rarer ones such as copper, silver, gold, diamonds, and other special minerals. The value of each resource is different, affecting how much you can earn by selling it. As you dig deeper, you will discover new layers of earth with new and more valuable resources. You will also unlock new mines in different locations (e.g., Moon, Titan), each with its own resources and challenges.
At the selling center, take the resources you have mined to sell and earn money. The amount of money you receive depends on the type and quantity of resources you sell. You can upgrade the Selling Center to speed up transactions or get better prices for your resources. You have limited storage for resources. You need to sell resources regularly to avoid the storage being full, interrupting the automatic mining process of the miners.
Upgrading the drill is key to digging faster and reaching greater depths. Upgrades can include increased digging speed, increased power (to break through harder layers of soil), and unlocking special features. Upgrading miners helps them mine faster and more efficiently. You can increase the number of miners in each well and upgrade the level of each miner. You can also hire and upgrade scientists to discover new relics and increase their efficiency. Unlock and upgrade special miners to increase your mining ability.
The long-term goal is to dig as deep as possible to discover new layers of soil, find rare resources, and unlock new areas. Players can explore caves by sending drones to collect special resources and building materials. When you reach a certain depth or complete missions, you will unlock new mining locations such as the Moon, Titan, etc., each with its own resources and challenges.
Quests given by the game guide you through the stages of development and provide rewards (money, items, unlocks) upon completion. Completing specific goals in the game unlocks achievements, which often come with rewards.
You should focus on hiring miners early on so that the miners can automatically mine for you even when you are not playing. Hire enough miners for each mine as soon as you have enough money. You also need to upgrade the drill regularly so that better drills help you dig faster and break through hard layers of soil more effectively. Don't skip upgrading the drill when you have money.
Sell resources regularly to avoid letting your warehouse get too full. Sell resources regularly to ensure that miners have room to continue working. You don't need to try to dig too deep at the beginning. Focus on mining effectively in the soil layers near the surface before investing in deeper digging.
