Flappy Bird is a fast-paced game that requires players to have good skills to complete challenging levels. How many levels do you think you can complete well?

Flappy Bird Gameplay

The game is quite simple for players to control; you just need to control one touch the screen anywhere to be able to make Faby bird flap its wings and fly a little. Your only goal is to control Faby to fly through countless green pipes placed randomly with different gaps. Faby is affected by gravity.

If you do not touch the screen, it will slowly fall down. Continuous tapping and timing are the key to keeping the bird flying steadily and passing through the narrow gaps. If you let the bird hit any pipe or fall to the ground, the game ends. Every time Faby successfully passes through a pair of pipes (flying through the gap between two pipes), you will receive 1 point. The higher the score, the more control and patience you have.

Flappy Bird's Graphic Design

Classic 8-bit Graphics

The pixel art style of this game evokes nostalgia for classic video games from the 80s. The character and environment designs are quite simple, with nothing fancy, bright colors, but not too complicated. The bird Faby has a funny design, with big, round eyes and almost no expression. This "inanimateness" probably also contributes to the humor and makes the player focus more on the action.

Repetitive Environment

The game's background does not change, only the random appearance of pipes with different heights and distances. This repetition may be boring to some people, but it creates familiarity and challenges the player's ability to adapt. The background music loops a short piece of music, along with a "flop" sound when the bird flaps its wings and a "pop" sound when it crashes. The music in the game is quite simple and quite easy to listen to, but it can get a bit boring after a long time of playing.
